The Senior Women's National team (Sitsebe SaMhlekazi) left the country yesterday evening (Sunday, 10th September 2017) for Bulawayo, Zimbabwe to participate in the COSAFA Women's Championships. This delegation consists of 20 players and 5 officials. The Head of delegation is MP Sikhumbuzo Dlamini. Sitsebe SaMhlekazi is in group B alongside Mauritius, Mozambique and Kenya. The opening match for Sitsebe SaMhlekazi will be against Mauritius on Thursday, 14th September 2017 at the Luveve Stadium. Their second match will be against Mozambique on Saturday, 16th September 2017 on the the same venue. The final match of the group will be against Kenya on Tuesday, 18th September 2017 at the Barbourfield Stadium. The group winners in each of the 4 groups plus the best runner-ups will qualify for the semi-finals.
