Sincephetelo Motor Vehicle Accident Fund (SMVAF) has presented the quarter finalist of this unique competition with soccer kits that they will use at this stage of the competition. This happened at the SMVAF headquarters in Mbabane. The football clubs that were presented with the soccer kits are; Mbabane Citizens FC, Milling Hot Spurs FC, Royal Leopards FC, Manzini Sundowns FC, Young Buffaloes FC, Green Mamba FC, Mbabane Swallows FC and Manzini Wanderers FC. All these football clubs were represented by their captains and PROs/ CEOs.
When addressing the audience; the Chairman of the SMVAF Ingwenyama Cup Board of Trustees, Prince Hlangabeza assured the sponsor that the nation do acknowledge the message that is being spread by the sponsor through football and urged the public to continue implementing these messages. “The nation acknowledge the messages that are being spread by the sponsor through football and the public must drive safe as we go to the stadiums”, the Prince said.
The SMVAF Chief Executive Officer (CEO); acknowledged the support from the King and the public towards this competition on both the football and cultural categories. “As a sponsor we acknowledge the support from the King and the public towards this competition on both the football and cultural categories”, he said. He told the football clubs that ; it is an honour to wear this soccer kits as they are from His Majesty The King Mswati III. Finally, he urged the public to drive cautiously and continue to spread the gospel of good conduct in the country’s roads even after this competition has ended.
The competition’s PRO, Nkosilenhle Masuku warned the football clubs who are competing in the top league on the land to take note of the National First Division football clubs. “Let me warn the football clubs from the top leagues on the land to be careful of the teams from the National first Division as they are capable enough to go all thae way to the finals of this competition”, he said.
The quarter final matches will take place on Saturday, 13th and Sunday, 14th January 2018 at the Somhlolo National Stadium.
